Ham has been through it all. Ham was born on a fur farm here in Ohio. For reasons we do not know, the fur farmer decided he did not want him and he was taken to an auction/flea market to be sold to the highest bidder. A young man purchased Ham on a whim. He took him back to a neighboring state where owning a fox was illegal. At just 4 weeks old he was frustrated

with the natural behaviors of an Arctic fox kit and began abusing Ham and keeping him locked in a tiny crate. Word got out about Ham and owning him being illegal was made known to the family, however they had no concern for Ham’s well being. Knowing the state DNR could show up at any moment to euthanize Ham, a neighbor stepped in and convinced the young man to give Ham to him. Hours later he reached out to

us, and in less than a day Ham was safely here at Walking Wild. Ham is the happiest, most loving little Arctic you will ever meet. After his 5 first weeks being a living hell, he is living his happily ever after!
