Join the Team

We are excited to grow our volunteer family. We currently have openings on our sanctuary team. This roll is the most vital volunteer roll here at Walking Wild. It isn't always the most glamorous, but it is the most rewarding and fun volunteer roll at Walking Wild. All animal husbandry volunteers are hands on here at Walking Wild, located in Licking County, Ohio. Our sanctuary team helps with our most important daily needs: 

• cleaning enclosures
• providing our animals with enrichment activities
• water buckets
• food bowls
• expansion and facility projects (no worries, no construction background or heavy lifting is required)

Requirements:

• Love of animals
• Availability weekdays during the day and/or weekends during the day
• Ability to dedicate a minimum of 8 hours a month to volunteering.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to work solo or as part of a team.
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Able to lift 15lbs
• Complete all required training
• Ready to have lots of fun
• Attend volunteer orientation
